Pierre-Marie Guyonvarc'h, M.D.

Dr. Guyonvarc'h co-founded Tolerys SA in 2012 after working as Chief Operating Officer for a spin-off company from the Institut Pasteur. He leads a team of scientists specialized in vaccines, manufacturing processes and quality assurance. He has also established collaboration agreements with several large pharmaceutical companies. Previously, he was a clinical researcher focused on hypertension in the department of Internal Medicine at the Hôpital Broussais in Paris.
Dr. Guyonvarch received the M.D. degree from the Claude Bernard University Lyon 1's Faculty of Medicine. He also holds an engineering degree from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy.
Marie-Laure Santiago-Raber, Ph.D.
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Santiago-Raber is an Immunologist with more than 20 years expertise in Autoimmunity. She headed a research group mainly focused on models of lupus and multiple sclerosis at the department of Pathology and Immunology of the faculty of Medicine at the University of Geneva. She has authored nearly fifty peer-reviewed publications, with a focus on mechanisms of autoimmune disease development utilising cellular and genetic approaches. Highly interested in translational research and the development of novel therapies, she trained for a Diploma of Advanced Studies (Management of Clinical Trials – Good Clinical Practice Implementation and Quality Processes) at the University of Geneva. She has been appointed as Privat-docent of the Department of Pathology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine of Geneva.
She holds a Ph.D in biology with a thesis on autoimmunity from PARIS 7 University and completed postdoctoral fellowships in Immunology at the SCRIPPS Research Institute in California and at the University of Geneva.
